SAINT PETER'S SQUARE - CASTEL GANDOLFO (on summer).
Every Sunday the Holy Father BENEDICTUM XVI gives in St. Peter's square, the Apostolic Blessing to the faithful people and to the religious objects.
The tour includes the visit of St. Peter's Basilica, the magnificent St. Peter's square which was realized by Bernini in 1661 and the Vatican Grottoes where the Popes are buried.
At 12,00 the Pope appears at the window of his apartment and after a brief speech, he blesses people. In summertime, from July to September the Pope resides in Castel Gandolfo, therefore the ceremony takes place in the square in front of his residence of Castel Gandolfo (in this case you have to consider a surplus for the transportation).
The tour includes the visit of the ancient Appian way, the city and the Lake of Castel Gandolfo.
The tour can be modified and adapted to every demand.
